Operations Training Coordinator

Bank Forward in Fargo, ND has an opening for a full-time Operations Training Coordinator. Hours would be Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm. Position is responsible for developing, coordinating and monitoring training throughout the department. Our client, Peoples State Bank located in Wahpeton, ND is seeking highly motivated individuals to join its team. The successful applicants will be involved in a broad variety of responsibilities.

Branch Manager/Lender - In this role you will be responsible for developing, servicing and retaining profitable customer relationships. Also this role will be responsible for all daily branch operations.

Head Teller/New Accounts Clerk - In this role you will coordinate and supervise all aspects of teller operations within the branch ensuring the daily activities of the tellers are performed in a timely and accurate manner. Also this role will be explaining account options to customers, opening of new accounts and being knowledgeable of the products and services offered.

Qualifications include 3 plus years in the banking industry. The ideal candidates would possess knowledge of lending concepts, practices and procedures and good judgment to plan and accomplish goals. In addition, work well both independently and in a team environment and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. A background in Deposit Pro and/or Laser Pro is a plus along with consumer lending and/or teller/account set up experience.

Banking Services Manager, VP/SVP

Located in Bismarck or Fargo, this position is responsible for contributing to the growth and profitability of the bank through the management of Mortgage, Retail Banking and Financial Services (Insurance and Investments). Responsible for ensuring that customer service provided is of the highest quality and that customers consistently experience a professional, efficient, uniform and solutions-based delivery of products and services. Ensures that staff members are knowledgeable of products, services, and systems to enable them to effectively meet customer financial needs. Implements and communicates new product information, promotes an environment strong in sales, referrals and product knowledge. Evaluates and proposes changes in workflows to create efficiencies and cost savings. Provides overall direction and vision along with sales coaching.

Responsible for hiring, preparing, coaching and enabling staff to meet customer service and sales expectations. Accountable for performing administrative and operational functions to ensure bank compliance with internal policy, regulatory, and audit/compliance requirements. Works with sales, operations, and human resources in determining the nature and scope of training needs for new and existing staff including coordinating, scheduling, and participating in the delivery of such training in the areas of customer service, products and services, policies and procedures, and operations. Responsible for conducting periodic branch visits and reporting to management as to the effectiveness of the sales process, service standards, controls, and efficiency of operations. Develops managers and supervisors, ensures adequate cross-training throughout the bank, and maintains a superior knowledge of financial industry trends and information.

Internal Auditor

Located in Mandan, the Internal Auditor is accountable for completing internal audits such as evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, the accuracy of financial records, the efficiency of operations, and the compliance with laws, government regulations and management policies and procedures. The internal auditor also prepares reports and provides recommendations for corrective actions.

Successful candidates will have a bachelor's degree in accounting, business or finance and one to three years of internal audit experience. Experience in a financial institution and a completed Internal Auditor certification is preferred. Requires a strong team player with proven interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
