Jump$tart: Financial Smarts for Students
The Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy seeks to improve the personal financial literacy of young adults. The Coalition's direct objective is to encourage curriculum enrichment to insure that basic personal financial management skills are attained during the K-12 educational experience. Contains a resource clearinghouse, activities on financial literacy, and links to other worthwhile websites on finance.

LifeSmarts: The Ultimate Consumer Challenge
LifeSmarts is a flexible classroom or group activity that teaches teens to be smart and responsible consumers and citizens by focusing on five key areas of consumer knowledge. Operated by the National Consumers League, LifeSmarts works in partnership with other nonprofit government and education groups in the states, including North Dakota.

Nasdaq Teaching Awards
Each year, through the Nasdaq Educational Foundation National Teaching Awards, teachers are recognized regionally and nationally for their financial and economic teaching programs.

National Association of Securities Dealers
Check out The Basics of Saving and Investing: A Teaching Guide, which contains learning objectives that focus on how to design a personal financial plan, how financial markets work, and how to select among various savings and investment options.

National Council on Economic Education
Founded in 1949, NCEE is a premier source of teacher training and materials used to instill an understanding of economic principles for grades kindergarten through twelve.

National Endowment for Financial Education
A foundation partnering for the financial well-being of the public. Includes information about the high school financial planning program.

Young Americans Education Foundation
Young Americans Education Foundation furthers the economic education of young people so they will be competent and knowledgeable in managing their financial affairs. The Young Americans Bank, located in Denver, teaches young people under the age of 22 how to responsibly handle finances and prosper in our free enterprise system through hands-on experience with real bank accounts.
