ND Jump$tart Coalition
2012 Financial Literacy Conference April 17, 2012 Best Western Doublewood Inn, Bismarck
The Jump$tart Coalition for personal financial literacy determined that the average student who graduates from high school lacks basic skills in the management of personal financial affairs. Our children are leaving school without the financial skills they need to survive, let alone thrive, in today's complex world. Lack of financial literacy can seriously affect their future quality of life. Established in 2006, the North Dakota Jump$tart Coalition believes that all North Dakotans deserve to have the fundamental knowledge necessary to make important decisions that affect their financial health, their families and their futures. We educate the public through speaking engagements and workshops, provide information and materials, and collaborate with public and private organizations and law makers on various projects throughout the state. Whether you're looking for ways to develop money smarts at home, in your classroom, organization or business, the North Dakota Jump$tart Coalition has the tools and connections you need to make it happen.
