FDIC Developing Regulatory Calendar for Community Banks

Posted on 7/27/2012

The FDIC is developing a regulatory calendar to help community banks stay current on changes in federal banking laws, regulations and supervisory guidance, the agency said yesterday.

The calendar also includes FDIC notices of proposed, interim and final rulemaking; joint proposals with other regulators; and independent issuances from other agencies that are relevant to the FDIC's supervisory examination programs.

The FDIC is encouraging stakeholders to e-mail feedback on the calendar
