FED Announces 2015 Fee Schedules

The Fed said yesterday that the Federal Reserve System's 2015 fee schedules for priced services are expected to be 1 percent higher than in 2014, yielding a 1.9 percent profit. The average fee paid to collect checks using the reserve banks' Check 21 services is expected to decline 3 percent, and fees on FedACH services will decline by 1 percent. Meanwhile, fees for Fedwire Funds and National Settlement Services will increase 5 percent and Fedwire Securities Service fees will rise by approximately 15 percent. FedLine access fees will also see a modest increase.
