CFPB Releases HMDA Disclosure Instructions

The CFPB yesterday announced that the filing instructions guide for Home Mortgage Disclosure Act data collected in 2024 is now available. The guide is a technical resource to help financial institutions file HMDA data collected in 2024 and reported in 2025, according to the bureau.
The CFPB also released the Supplemental Guide for Quarterly Filers for 2024, which includes 2024 calendar year quarterly deadlines. The guide will help financial institutions that are required to file HMDA data on a quarterly basis.
