POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT: Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships

North Dakota Bankers Association (NDBA) is seeking a Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships to join our team in Bismarck! NDBA is the professional trade association organized to effectively represent the common interest and welfare of banks in North Dakota and to promote the professional development of its members. We have proudly served North Dakota's banking industry since 1889 and our mission is to provide "Extraordinary Leadership for North Dakota Banks."

BRIEF SUMMARY OF POSITION
 
This position is responsible for fostering and growing endorsed strategic business relationships that benefit NDBA member banks and the Association. This includes managing NDBA Services, Inc. and executing marketing plans for each endorsed partner. NDBA Services is the for-profit subsidiary of NDBA and is governed by a board of directors. This position works closely with the board, business partners and member banks to ensure members’ satisfaction.
 
Other key responsibilities include: planning, developing and supporting 12 NDBA peer groups and organizing an Annual Peer Group Consortium; directing efforts to increase business partner involvement in the association through associate memberships; securing sponsorships; and organizing a member call program. The SVP of Strategic Partnerships serves as an important resource to NDBA members through responsive communication to questions.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
 
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, business or related fields. Must have excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills; and analytical, project management and organizational skills.
 
Preferred qualities include experience developing and managing budgets and overseeing design and production of marketing materials. Leadership skills, along with a high degree of creativity and motivation are helpful.
 
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
 
Extended hours for this position, including evenings and weekends, may be common.  Travel within the state of North Dakota, with occasionally regional and national overnight travel, may be required.
