Updated Legislative Form Changes - ND DOT

The ND Motor Vehicle Division has made revisions to the following forms to facilitate new legislation. These forms are updated on the
NDDOT website
. Beginning Wednesday,
January 1, 2020
, the Motor Vehicle Division will only accept the most current forms for the following documents updated during the 2019 Legislative session:
SFN 2475
Part 3, Purchasers Certification & Application (exemption updates)
SFN 53386
Total Loss Statement (deductible removed)
SFN 2872
Application for Certificate of Title (primary changes include: option for permanent trailer plate, fuel type of vehicle, additional info for ATV/UTV vehicles, removal of second lien (supplemental Part 3 can be included when more than one), and exemption changes)
SFN 18609
Damage/Salvage Disclosure Statement (new legislation impacting disclosure of damage takes effect for sales occurring on or after August 1, 2019)
Additional forms updated:
SFN 2964
The Statement of Error, Correction, or Alteration was updated earlier this year in an effort to provide more information while reducing errors associated with the form.
