Loan Officer / Branch Manager, Devils Lake

Horizon Financial Bank is seeking an experienced, motivated, and community-minded loan officer / branch manager to join our team in Devils Lake.

As a small community bank, we take pride in providing personalized service and making local lending decisions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with customers, business owners, farmers, and agricultural producers while helping grow and manage the bank’s local loan portfolio. Lenders are expected to provide professional service to current and potential customers, to be knowledgeable in understanding financial statements, loan underwriting, and loan monitoring.

Branch Manager will be responsible for the management of the Devils Lake location, including customer service, business development, credit administration, and day-to-day branch operations. In addition, they will work with department heads in making hiring and termination decisions.

A bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, economics or similar field, or equivalent experience in lending is preferred. This position requires the ability to maintain confidentiality while providing excellent customer service. Must be self-motivated, have strong presentation skills, able to communicate effectively with others, and willing to work both independently and as part of a team.
